As Chief Financial Officer, Juan is responsible for the finance operations of the company and new growth initiatives that expand Exile’s footprint through organic and mergers and acquisitions opportunities. Prior to joining Exile, Juan was part of the founding team of Boost Insurance, a venture-backed digital insurance platform that provides full stack insurance infrastructure through an API for companies to fully embed insurance services into their products. At Boost, he was instrumental in building the company from its seed funding to its B Series and held various leadership roles throughout his tenure at the company, including Chief Growth Officer and Head of Operations. Juan’s career experience and highlights include time as a venture capital investor for New York based IA Capital Group where he focused on fintech and insuretech companies. In addition to his investing experience, Juan co-led a strategy team for Fusion Media Group, a subsidiary of Univision. Originally from Bogota, Colombia Juan graduate from NYU’s Stern School of Business with a degree in Economics.
