Daniel Eilemberg

Daniel Eilemberg is President of Content at EXILE, a media company dedicated to acquiring and developing premium original content for audiences across the U.S. and Latin America.

Prior to joining EXILE, Eilemberg served as president and chief content officer of Fusion, a multi-cultural cable and digital media company owned by Univision, where he oversaw all content and operations for the network and its diverse platforms. During his tenure, Fusion grew its distribution, ratings, and revenues, and earned over 75 television and journalism awards.

Previously, Eilemberg founded and served as president of Animal Político, which began as the Twitter account Pájaro Político and went on to become one of the most recognized and influential news brands in America. Under his guidance, the site was honored with Spain’s Ortega y Gasset, Mexico’s Premio Nacional de Periodismo and Gabriel Garcia Marquez Journalism Awards.

Eilemberg’s executive producer credits include the Sundance Audience Award Winner Science Fair, Who Killed Malcolm X?, Murder Mountain, Food Exposed, Big Papi Needs a Job, Car vs America, Shade: Queens of NYC, The Traffickers and INSIDE: FARC Hostage Rescue (for National Geographic Channel).

A journalist at heart, Eilemberg gained experience early on in his career as editor of PODER, Hispanic Magazine and LOFT, and at Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer where he worked in the creative department. Eilemberg is a 2014 visiting Nieman Fellow at Harvard University and one of NAMIC’s 2017 class of Next Generation Leaders and Luminaries.
